Hi, friends 👋🏽. I'm Stacy Casson, Chief Play Officer at Things to Think About, LLC. Play is serious business and necessary for effective problem-solving. I've learned to create calm in the chaos, having raised five kids. I've used process improvement techniques to successfully manage parenting responsibilities. I can help you find manageable ways to empower your kids and move from overwhelm to action.
Celebrate Your Wins
Pause for a moment:
What's one thing you accomplished this week—big or small?
Did you keep your cool when normally you would blow up?
Get your taxes done?
Found a parking spot nearby on a rainy day?
Drop your win in the comments or share it with a friend!
My wins: This week, I visited my local chamber of commerce and won a free breakfast. I spent quality time with my kid filming for his YouTube channel and walked 5K as a unicorn to raise funds and awareness about HIV/AIDS. Reflecting on my wins helps to keep the momentum when I'm down.
Every week, we explore a Tarot card because Tarot is rich in symbology and helps us to tap into our intuition. Reflecting on the card and noting what comes to mind is a form of metaphorical brainstorming that provides insights when problem-solving.

Card of the Week: Ten of Cups
A couple joyfully beholds a rainbow with ten cups in the arch as two children dance happily against an idyllic background. My initial impressions are about quality family time, which feels perfect since I am speaking at the Health Wealth and Wisdom summit for parents this week. There is such an expansiveness to the card that mirrors the mental space created when we clear our physical clutter. For the first time, my family is maintaining the areas we have decluttered together.
The Pattern It Reveals
I interpret this card as a portrait of a happy family, and happiness doesn't happen by chance. The couple appears close and united while the kids play freely. I wonder what conversations and what sitting with discomfort, this family went through to get here. I also notice that the parents are standing while the children are in motion. To me, that says something important: parents are meant to be the grounding, consistent presence so their kids have the freedom to move.
The Question Worth Asking
Where are you grounded, and how does that show up in your physical space? I've noticed that the more confident I feel about my work, the more organized my desk becomes. I recently set up a filing system, and it has quietly changed how I move through my day.
One Small Experiment to Try This Week
Pick one space where you feel less grounded and spend five minutes decluttering it. If it's a shared space, invite your kid into the process because building consensus is a skill they will carry with them. I set up an action file system I learned from Suzanna Kaye, and my kids immediately understood and started using it. We are all happier for it.
Ready to move from overwhelm to action?
A clear space and a clear mind are more connected than we think, which is exactly what I'll be talking about this Wednesday. I've been selected as one of the expert presenters for the Health Wealth Wisdom: Parents' Edition LIVE Super Summit, and it's completely free to attend. My talk, "A Clean Room, A Clear Mind," is at 1:30 PM EST on March 25th, with the summit running from 11 AM to 8 PM EST.
